I would like to join in, but it seems this track+cater320 is causing a mini-dump on my comp. Does anyone has this issue ?

Luc are you sure you have install the track correctly, a track/car combo doesn't create a mini-dump its the track that cause it and its usually cause its not installed correctly.

Stefan, I downloaded the track but didn't go into Evo to see it. Ususally I check to make sure the track runs ok before entering. I've been on several of the f-1 sims tracks long and short, I hope this is the long version. I'll check it out later tonight.

I though of another one - as I won't have enough time to create a skin of my own am I free to use any of the skinpack skins or do I have to stick with the default Race 07 ones. Not a big problem either way but I don't want to step on anyone's toes!

Skin pack skins are personal, but there's lots on RD to choose from so post a link to one and Dave can add it to the top post for now so peeps can d/l it. If you like the Friday night Mini thing, and there's a few of us that do, you can always slap up a skin and get it put into the pack :good:

This is the first time I have driven these cars properly, I only bought evo so I could run MMG F1 but I am really enjoing driving the Seat, although I`m finding it hard to put consistent times in, different driving style completely to what I`m used to and being front wheel drive a different approach is needed, great fun and I`m looking forward to the race tomorrow.

Pack will be updated tonight when I get home as there is 2 pending to be submitted. Not sure what time that will be though.
The existing pack will also get a spring clean as I have notice there are skins there that some of the names I have not seen for a while.

Yeah, should be a good race. I've only done a few laps to tinker with my setup and doing consistent 1:34's.

Been doing some laps with my bmw e90, I can't really pick up a decent pace cause of my back breaking out when cornering. Whenever I brake hard + some fast downshifting, I loose control. I figured I should put more brake bias to the rear. Well enough time today to drive some more tho :laugh2:

Try blipping the throttle as you go down the gears or change down when the revs are a lot lower. Both methods help stop the rears locking on down shift.

Nice time, I only have to knock off about 4 seconds then :snicker: I will be happy if I can find a couple of seconds, whats the names of the of the 2 right handers out on the GP section, is Westfield one of them ? I think thats where I lose most time.

Yeah, first of the 2 right handers are Westfield Bend then either the small right hander called Dingle Dell, or the tight right hander of Dingle Dell Corner. That's the corner where I could make up some time.
