on a side note, what kind of lap times are ya'll running? I ran a 1:41.9, felt pretty good. but ive found that what 'feels good' is normally about midpack on this game :laugh2:

great fun track though, good cars too. good call man, this'll be a fun race :skywalker:

ran a best of 40.8 but usually in the 41.3 range. I'll ship my setup in the online section of the game for you to try.

The whole RWD learning curve after a month of HONDA driving has me thinking harder than I should. TIre temps are in the 170's right front and in the 180's rear. Not quite hot enough?

Bob,

Setup from you i just tried.

So now i could stay on the track.

After a few rounds my new time is (ofline) 2:16971, so that is a whole improvement.

Time improvement says it all i think for yr setup.

So now i can focus on the track with this setup and learn where and how to brake. These Camaro's are pretty fast with their 4 speed gear.

i problably shouldn,t post my time but i will do it anyway :rotfl: my PB in qualy is 1:38:4xx and my PB with fuel for the race in praccy is 1:38:8xx . i also made my setup available online and i'll be on the server tonite around 9 PM EST.

It does create instability, but if used properly, it can gain an advantage (so long as you don't fly over the thing). Because it causes instability, experienced driver won't use it every lap. Qualifying, maybe. We'll wait until Papa Bear's verdict.

I was having problem with the Vitus GP track. Downloaded used 7zip to open and copy. it loaded successful but the screen was completely black!

Deleted now and wanted to redownload but need to wait till my counter at nogrip get resetted.

Anybody else having the issue?

I am using Win 7, the folder was actually green in the explorer, some things tried to indicate that it was encrypted... maybe going to try it tomorrow on Vista.

Do I have to copy the both folders in the file (also the _MACOSX one)?

My two cents:
For a long endurance event on a Simbin track, I think it is best to let the sim determine cutting and give game penalties. Really, who is going to spend two hours or so per driver checking the replay afterwards. It's just to burdonsome. Although, if RD or Eric don't like or trust the sim's ability to determine cutting, then I think the rule should simply be having to keep at least two tires on the track on or inside the white line, off the curbing. I'm looking forward to the final decision.
