So, unlike WTCC nowadays, here we will need cooperation to survive the event with something that resembles the starting car… as usual, from my part, I will not defend my position, but will keep my line together with my high top speed, so if possible, I (and everyone else’s) would like not to be bumped from an inside suicide overtaking maneuver from an overall quicker car but slower when going down the straights. Btw, narrow tracks don’t permit many race line fantasies… :wink2:

Indeed great post Joao. As you say in the quote, it is important the everybody knows how and where to overtake clean. And even if you are in a slower car (GT Sport) you are free to keep your line if you reach a corner infront of a faster car (GT Pro).

Only in the case the faster car gets the position at the breaking point or before, the slower car should then give him room and let him go. The other option is overtaking in the straight due to HP. :cowboy:

...it's good to read confirmation what i already thought especially when ...

That's the idea, I know 95% of you are true veterans of on-line simracing and as such, what I typed above as come across your mind before and perhaps even earlier than it crossed mine...

Of course I’m a little afraid of sounding obnoxious, but the idea is always to post it for the other possible 5% who might haven't noticed it, and if it helps part of them to be aware, we have a useful post :wink2:

Or assign a button for 'takeoff overtake' manouver.

That remembers me an overtaking maneuver in a DTM race a few years ago at Estoril...
