Mod Night events

Ok chaps, here's the deal. I will be shortly taking over RACE events on the mod nights, so I need to know what kind of mod you guys would like to run. I've not set this as a poll because I want it to be an open choice. Responses below please

Suggestions so far:

Escorts
DTM 2008-2010
Audi RS4
Porsche 997/Ferrari F430
Alpine Hills (track)
Maserati from FIA GT 2008 Mod for GTR Evo
True2Life Racing Porsche Mobil1 SuperCup 2007
Audi R8 V10

Unfortunately, the RACE 07 version of the Clio mod isn't legal, and therefore we won't run it at RD.

Not the case really, Petros Mak is just being a **** with the mod he asked me to make, then wanted all the credit for....

Maybe so, but we can't run it whilst there is a dispute over it

Chris / Gunther .... Is anyone trying to clarify or mediate with the Clio situation. I did not realise that you created it Gunthar, superb job it really is a great little car to race . I wish there was somehow we could race it under the RD umberella!

It's down to whoever created the mod to settle. Not really my place to get involved with things like that.

The old vans and cars you see in the pits all add to the atmosphere...

Ah, I'd probably be lousy at the CUSTOM cars at an UNKNOWN track, they seem very popular and everyone is probably well practiced for the event already.

To be honest, my favourite mod in the Race series is Gunthar's DTM2010 mod, i'd be more than happy to keep attending events with that. (now that i've just discovered it's being used!) Perhaps a series of events around fast & flowing tracks (possibly with an emphasis on actual DTM tracks past & present) topped off with a longer enduro-type event would attract a few more bodies. (60 mins max though, as that's almost an actual DTM race length)

Also, Gunthar's V8 supercar mod is one i'd like to race a bit more often. After all, the cars are all the same and have enough power to make them big fun on the right track.
