What puzzled me was that all names mentioned regarding this (Oliver A, Nigel, Gary and myself) were allready in the game when I got disconnected which means there was someone else jumping on without the permission. At least this is the conclusion I end up with. (Assuming I'm not doing a thinking error.) And it is kinda sneaky not to come forward being that guy.

Just to confirm and put any of those concerns to bed, I checked the server log to compare all those in Qualy with the sign up list, and there was nobody in Qualy who was not in the final sign up list. So, It doesn't appear that anybody was being sneaky, it was as Simon explained, the difficulty of trying to fit 4 reserves into 3 available slots, with people disconnecting and connecting at the same time. Very unusual set of circumstances, and very rare.

That was fun while it lasted. Qualy went ok and ended with me in 6th.
I had my trademark excellent start which as per usual lost me 4 or 5 positions.
Quickly made up those places though and at the forst stop i was 5th.
Then i made 1 mistake in 1 turn and it was race finished.
Broke the aero's, suspension and i think something happened to a wheel.
Cause that car did not want to go anywhere.
O'well, next time.

Happy new year to all and stay on the black stuff.
Thanks once again to all the RD admin and staff for all the hard work, it is apreciated.

See you guys next year :)

Oh....My....God

Have never completed 1 lap round here before so qualifying 8th was a huge boost for me. Got to grid, lights went red and got a BLUE FLAG aaaarrrrgghhh!!!! so pulled to side and let everyone past and decided to follow and see how many laps i could complete.

Quite a few spun or crashed on first lap so moved up a few places, then people started dropping out and before i knew it i was upto 8th again and growing in confidence so started to push a bit harder. Made a mess of my first 2 pitstops and really messed up my in lap for my last trying to adjust fuel and cancel tyres (multitasking is not my forte).

By my last lap was in 3rd, but more importantly i had nearly completed 10 laps round this awesome track with only 2 scrapes on the barriers and 1 spin.

That last lap was the most nervous i have ever had, i was scared to death of binning it and as a result it was probably my slowest, but brought it homewith a huge sense of relief!!!!!!

I can`t believe it, 10 laps of the Nurgurgring, what a way to finish the year!!!!

Gongratulations to Gary for yet another win and to Robert for an excellent 2nd.

Thanks Andrew and RD for this magical event.
