Sorry guys but i have to pull out...did some strange movements with my neck the other day and now the muscles on the left side are really sore and tense.
So i am going to take some rest and let this one go by...sorry
Have fun all and i'll see you next time.

... a few small setup tips I found to work to help back end from overtaking front round here:

  • less camber (esp at rear)
  • shift brakes forward a little
  • a click or two extra on rear toe in than you normally use ... obvious negative is that you might lose a bit of speed with this.
Did a couple of timed laps in an offline race yesterday and was a shade over 10 mins on them ... since the leaderboards have been reset I have no idea how that compares??

Another thing to note ... my wheel has started playing up so sadly I might not be able to make it :( (for now keep me on the list, will post tomorrow if it totally goes belly up on me) ... on a positive note though - my G25 is gonna be replaced by Logitech's excellent customer service department with a spanking new G27 and I quote "... if that is satisfactory to me?" LOL :wink::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::tongue:

Great event, although i don't drive the WTCC 08 or Imola 08 that much i still managed to qually 3rd.
Race 1 had a good start but when i tried to overtake Eric, who had the door wide open, he suddenly kept on closing that door.
Obviuosly he didn't notice me there and i really tried to avoid him but to no use,i touch him and we both ended in the gravel.Luckely we both could rejoin the race but lost a lot of places.Sorry mate ,no bad intensions there, just as went for it the gap was gone.
After that i had some other nice fights with Dario,Martin,Filip and Bob.Really great moments.
Race 2 started 3rd and was 2nd in t1,chased Kraai for a few laps and then made a great move on him in the hairpin, but he stayed beside me for the next corner but took the lead in the next fast right hander.
Luckely for me he then had a big fight with the rest of you guys holding you up and giving me just enough lead to hold it to the finish.
Thanks all for the great evening, till next time
Thx Yves and RD for setting this up.

cheers

I had fun while it was going for me. many good battles along the way. twice though very questionable blocking by one driver and a overly optimistic pass by another that could easliy be reportable incidents unfortunately ruin my races. But this is touring cars sometimes. Very fast and close racing is what makes it fun and some times it doesn't go as planned...............

Thanks Yves and RD for a great event format! IMOLA never disappoints for action or speed!

Stefan, whats happed to Freddie as he's not signed up for this one?

He's taking a sabbatical. Got some troubles with his steering device. (who not....)

Probably i gonna step out too. Yesterday i have damaged my car (very bad). Through the snow the back of my car smashed against a road "fender". Now my backwheels are standing sideways......crooked!

hopefully i can think straight again tomorrow.....
