Sign me up too ...
... since there was a server is up this afternoon I did some laps to do a "starter for 10" on the leaderboards (ie get a time up there for comparison purposes).
Dunno how good or bad it is, just had time for a quick blast and was on a pretty standard setup and fuel load, but all in all it didn't feel too bad ...

May I actually suggest for race safety to have a forced pit stop :), if I remember correctly 60 minutes is tight but possible without pit stop (or make it 65 or 70 minutes :) ).

Good idea Dietmar. Ill insert a STCC rule with a forced pitstop window where at least two tyres need to be changed. Ads some action to the game :)

I like the idea of a forced pit stop, it adds something more to the 60minutes.
Please sign me as a maybe, I should be home from work in time.

... hmmm forced pit with forced 2 x tyre change ... I liked the old 80 minute format - you had to pit (usually) for fuel, but tyres were optional - so the whole strategy and driving style (ragging it and burning your tyres out or alternatively driving more carefully to preserve them to the end) came into play ... and like Nige said, defending or catching someone at the end with worn tyres could make it really rather exciting, wot wot :D

... this will feel a bit more like 2 x sprint races I guess, no doubt with some serious catch up needed on my part :D

Did you ever do 80 minutes with one set of tyres?
