i'll be sure to give you a "gooood" setup))
It's GSC Minis.
You can change the rear wing, and the tire-pressure, and that's it.
There's still weight and tire wear.
Don't know how much of a difference it makes for the Mini, tho.
Thanks for the sarcastic tag @Bram but the races are too long for me. With my old disabilities I wouldn't be able to last that long. My Arthritis hurts bad enough after a 20 minute race these days.
Can be managed, question is whether you are quicker than with doing a pit stop .
For me it was never an option, I am not that good at managing tires.
Thanks for the tag - yep, I'm in!
I'll be sure to make sure you get a good hairy view for the entire race
Just ran a test race (well, wrecked in lap 5) and oh boy, why can't i join easy club races for once?
That right, right, left section leading to the last bend ... no clue how to take that fast without the danger of getting on the gras (which leads to a spin without any chance of catching) and for some weird reason my tires always smoke like crazy even when i only hit the brakes very gently.
I think i lose 5 tenths there alone
I'll make sure to bring my friend
"when in doubt go flat out "
Haven't been in the minis for quite a while but I remember that at high speed lift-off oversteer is a bit thing. Two things if there is a coast settings put it higher than one and second never completely take foot from acc, even when braking keep it pressed 5-10%
I guess the second right is the issue? Get earlier on the break than you think and I need to release the break before turning in (at least that was my main issue).
Ya'll are wimps if you come up with reasons for not being able to run for 80 minutes, which happens to be the proper length of a Mini Friday event. I'm 70 years old, probably not going to win but I'll be racing for 80 minutes! Damage is going to be set to none, right?
may need a bathroom break at my age lolput me down as a maybe please
@xnorb the factory settings of the MINI cars allow low ABS, it's pretty much impossible to race this little buggers without it.
As @Caramidaru Andrei Bogdan rightfully pointed out a little bit of trailbraking does wonders and when you loose control in oversteer hit the throttle (just like in a real life FWD car, saves a ride to the hospital once people realize that. Saved my live once during a blown tire).
If you hop on Teamspeak we'll help you out of course
@tightlines you can park the car in the grass a safe position for a small wee break. Make a coffee and hop back in
70 and racing strong! Dennis you're a stud!

definitely not buying a wheel or simracing
No, I am not buying a new wheel again Mine is only three weeks old LOL. The game however, was already bought months ago. The non-steam version.
and this non-steam version was updated to steam in time for the free-new-game
It was only a joke Ramon I'm going back under my rock now...
