Feedback 1 - I'm in. Been a long time, but Friday night Minis are one of best things about RD.
Feedback 2 - 80 minutes all the way. I remember a Race 07 Friday night at Cadwell Park a few years ago. Half the field pitted, half didn't. Made for a brilliant last 10 laps.:O_o: I think the pitstop element and the 'almost endurance' feel made Friday nights in a Mini essential. That and the big turn outs:thumbsup:

Thanks @Simon Bacon. I am not sure if my physical condition allows me to run for 80 minutes but heck lets give it a try then Friday.

In too.

I really like this idea! Cant make this one though. Maybe have some event shorter than 80 minutes though as that could easily scare some folks away. I hope I can attend one (or many) at some point. Just depends on my schedule as I'm in a different time zone. Maybe even consider an occasional North American mini event as well. I could see these being popular.

That was my first race or at least very very close to being, and I should have won but for that pesky 'spit you out of the pits without tyres and throw away your lead with no benefit' bug that some R07 addon tracks seem to suffer with.

Sign me up as a maybe please.

Regarding the length: I'd be all in for 80 minutes, but as usual with my schedule that would already be plenty late. The 60 minutes are already scratching on the edge of my limits.
20:00 GMT is 21:00 CET, so racing an hour, shower and getting ready and we're talking about 23:00 until i can finally meet up with my g/f and go out.
I'm no 19 anymore where nights don't start before midnight :D
