The track link has been updated to a newer version that corrects a couple of items in the track file. PLease download the track file again from the link in the info page if you installed the file prior to today!

Barrichello is other only available, Please provide a driver name in future please, as I can't be doing with all the cryptic stuff when I just got up

Joined the server early to get some practice and familiarize the track. Recycled my setup from Spa with a few tweaks.

Q. First run out I didn't push hard enough and found myself towards the bottom of the list after 3 laps. With 5 mins left, I put fuel for 2 laps only and managed to turn a hot lap and got 4th. Suprised myself with a 2,00.xx

R1. My starts never seem to go well, I let myself get squeezed to the outside and dropped way back by T2. The rest is a blurr, I just remember trying to stay on track and out of trouble. One car ahead was rubber-banding pretty badly so I kept my distance and waited for a safe moment to pass. Then moved up slowly as people went wide or put a wheel off here and there and was super happy to finish back in P4.

R2. Started 5th on the grid and concentrated hard to avoid collisions with cold tires and brakes. Got lucky (again) and made it thru the carnage to find myself in P2 behind Yves. Tried to keep his pace but no chance. Felt ongoing pressure from behind and slowly widened the gap to give a bit of breathing room. Towards the end my tires really began slide but I was still able to take in the beautiful deep blue sky and shield my eyes from the setting sun. Finished P2 for my second RD podium =)

Congrats to Yves on back to back wins!

Thanks to Eric (harsh video.. ouch) for all the great work and RD for another outstanding event!

Dave, I actually do know that DTM cars have very little in common with their production counterparts (as I'm following the series), thanks anyway. But still, if I compare them to the record laps up here on RD it just doesn't add up. Furthermore, those two times are almost as fast as real life F1 times....

I didn't look that closely at the times, I have done any running at Imola for a long time

hhmmmmm slow in fast off? I think somebody said something about this in a driving school waaaay back in the day.
