What a nice set of races!

I had practiced throughout the last few days and finally settled on the Zonda - albeit a small lack of topspeed compared to, say, the Koenigsegg, it felt way more stable.
Putting out a bit of fuel (not quite "qualy fuel", though), I managed to qualify 3rd.

Had a really nice start into the first race, passing Peter who didn't start so well. Unfortunately, he quickly won back the time lost - a spin into the second chicane allowed him to go by after a few laps:

Now it was Matthias coming up behind me, and once again, he was gaining second per second up until the point where.. I screwed up. Spun through Ascari and had to let him and Joe by.

Made for a great fight with Joe, though - really good defensive work on his side, and if I recall correctly, it took a small off by him to make the pass. Now back in P3, I inherited P2 following a SnG for one of the leaders

Starting from P7 into the second race, I once again started fairly good but had to take a small offroad trip when I ran out of road between me and Gundars in front

Lost a few places and while I won back Reggie Blain's position rather fast when he went off, Paul turned out to be way harder to pass - finally made it after he went a tiny bit too wide in Lesmo 2

With Dennis going into the gravel after the second chicane, it was now Gundars in front of me, waiting for a battle - and what a battle it was! Awesome, fair, clean, close racing and impressive defense from him. Once again, it took a small off in the Lesmo's to get by

Having an open road in front of me for the first time in this race, I was now actually gaining time on Peter - just ever so slightly, though, and an off in the last lap's Lesmo 2 didn't exactly help (neither did the fact that it were still 4 seconds to him by then )

(oh right, and Dennis totalled my car post-finish )

What a great crowd of pedal pushers today! Mean cars on a track that likes to spit back, heheh!
We caught a few drivers from our past for this one too, certainly hoping that you can come back for more racing with us.

I tried all the Evo cars last week, plenty of choices there. My old Gumpert was as good as any I tried so I stuck with the EZ Pass/ Tequila.net car and it did me well.

Hoping for an early open spot on the track I ended up having to hold off until the third lap for a clear shot at a good lap. Not bad, not best ever.

Race 1, the car behaved very nice and most all I did was watch mirrors and let out of position drivers past. Gundars and Loz were my closest races lasting for most of the laps.

Race 2, With no changes made the car had too much of a mind of it's own this time out and I had to be really gentle. A cut warning early on got me taking "those" corners a bit more tidy so as to not lose my head on the chopping block. That and handling meant that the fight with Bjorn and Gundars went "poof" at the second chicane.

Both races were a blast, these cars are real racers

As always (I think it's a matter of age, (50) Phelan knows! ) I make crazy mistakes...senseless things, my son sometimes calls me ( jokingly ) U.F.O.
I have understood all these days that we will run with GT cars. O.K. so far!
I made my set up. Nice...

At the first try,I made a very good lap time!
At the second try, I made a great lap time!
At the third try, I made an extreme lap time!
At the fourth try, I had a lap time... that was like a lie, it was perfect! I was ready for my big love MONZA, nothing seemed to threaten me..... except myself...
And evil happened at the evening, 30 minutes before the race.
I got on the multiplayer game and some other cars appeared to choose! @#%^&*!!!! My GOD! I went go crazy. Unknown things appeared, other brands of cars, and the castles I had built, collapsed like paper...
Again another mistake by me, GTpro and not GTsport stupid idiot !
And as all of you enjoy the practise, I enjoyed my nightmare once again...
This is me my friends, accept me.

Race 1
I choose Pagani because is an Italian car in an Italian track, nothing else, this double is my dream.
Changes in set up very quickly, as I thought in my mind, a few rounds, and arrived in qualifying, STOP.
The rest you saw it in track.
Second in Qual, first in race. Although Ι believe that the first position deserved to David.
He was little careless and nervous and the three chicanes lurking in Monza, and did not take long the SnG, unfortunately, because he was too fast ! and high level behavior, as Ι saw in replay, what he did with Paul, but also Paul did the same for David, they know what I mean, Bravo guys ! These attitudes makes the R.D. unique to me.

Race 2
I started from the eighth position, and in a few rounds I was behind Joe, who was third.
Joe had an excellent driving but i was in high downforce and in chicanes I was much faster from him.This resulted me to losing a second in each lap from the 2nd and the 1rst.
When overtaken Joe the gap from the 2nd was 10 seconds, there was no hope for me to do something better, so it happened and I finished in 3P.
( Sorry about what happened between us Joe sometimes your brakes was too early )
