quali went well...ish. Not my best time but mid pack. 10th/11th if i remember correctly

Race 1. Probably one of my best races at RD. Not a bad start but the damp track saw me scew left off the line towards the pit wall, a wee bit of clutch control to get the wheels in check and a well respected cautious brake to T1 by everyone led to a great race. Even on the damp track I felt the car was in check (although Terry appeared to have a car that wanted to kill him!). Moved up steadily thru the order and sitting third behind Zafiu and Yates. As we came to the back markers Zafiu was collected by Connor (who was having an incident of his own) so Yates and I took full advantage and nipped ahead. Zaf regained control then came hunting. A couple of friendly nibbles from Zaf on the rear to helped keep me honest and I had to defend hard at some corners trying to get him into Mark Guys area then make a break for it. Yates by this point was clear. Very happy with the battles that went on and the 2nd place finish!

Race 2. You know when you look at the PC and think "somethings not quite right" then realise that you have 360deg left turn on the wheel which you need to undo just as the light go off... well.. that's pretty much why i was stationary on the line as I was swamped by cars from all directions. We bunched up at T1 but again all got thru safely. A mistake by myself misjudging everyones braking at T8(?) saw me nudge Zafiu sideways into Phelan. Sorry guys. I slowed off line to allow all cars to retake position ahead, but this popped me and Zaf 16 and 17 of the 17 runners. Decided to try to stick close to Zaf and work my way back up the order with him opening the doors hoping this would preserve the tyres a bit as I wouldn't have to work them so hard. Seemed to do the trick! Had a good few battles on the way. Again with Terry at T1 pulled a nice braking move while his car continued to try to kill him. We started to join a train which included cars in position 4-9. An incident with cars 4/5/6 shuffled the order well and up to 5th I moved which I continued to hold until the end.

2nd overall thanks to James getting two first places, don't think I can ever say I've had that before.

Great plaudits to Lampoc (Des) for getting a third place. You drove well mate!

Once again the racing was great last night and i must admit I really liked racing on this track.
