The Vectra might be the odd one out in terms of fuel tank size; but the point I wanted to make was that if you do refuel, you will find yourself disadvantaged because that's simply how the pitstops work.

Personally I find (from previous STCC online racing experience, I might add) the STCC style "two tyres only" pitstops really work well over a race distance in terms of competition - Simon and Ramon can vouch for that, I'm sure. The fact that you'll have a wear inbalance on the car presents a fresh challenge; and anyway, Simbin have configured the pitstops such that changing all four or refuelling takes long enough that it outweighs the advantage of a lower fuel load or having four fresh tyres in the second stint in the first place.

If it turns out that the distance is too long for all WTCC cars (I can't check myself at the moment, typing from work), then we'll either shorten the race distance slightly or disable fuel use. If it's just the Vectra then that's just unfortunate I'm afraid.

Had a blast trying to out qualify neil, only just got it :).
Had an ok start but I'm always a bit to careful on cold tyres/brakes and full tank of fuel so had a couple of taps (think I lost about 6 places) but that's only to be expected with such a close grid. I then put my serious head on and pushed without cooking tyres too much all went well pit went smooth and ended 3rd so happy with that.

Many thanks once again RD for great event.:peace:

PB in Quali and set my fastest race lap times too, but first lap out braked myself for the tight left after the fast right and lost 13 places:eek: made my way back up to 4th and all was going well pit stop was smooth then 90 mins in lost it coming onto start finish stright front puncture and front bumper gone! luckly pit entrance was in sight so headed straight into pit got menu up slected the repairs confirm then DAMN had selected repairs but not tyres and that was enough to put me over the edge :censored::censored: so I hit esc and left (was just so annoyed with myself) :rip::rip:

Vectra is a very nice car and good fun to race, shame it has the small fuel tank as was considering running it tonight :)
