1.38's so far after ~ 15 laps

... looks like I learn faster :wink: (I was there in ~9 laps including out laps and being punted off track) ... but my end result is probably much slower :rolleyes: :becky:

bit more wind in the tyres and only 3 laps of fuel.

took T1 flat & enterd the goose neck chicane in 5th not 4th.

... forgive my naivety but gooseneck chicane is the downhill one after the big ol hairpin at the top of the climb I guess?

You didn't make it the whole way through there in 5th did you!!? :shocked:

Every time I tried that the other night, I ended up touching the grass or losing the back end and going half a mile over the grass and nearly back on to the track at the other side!!? :pound:

... BTW ... there is a flaw with this track - on the right of the last twisty section, through the bushes there is a "void" where nothing has been created ... AI punted me off course on one of my first laps and I ended up with a quake style "noclip" view of the course and no way back but quitting to the garage ... not good if it happens in the race!? :amen:

Minis at the Ring! :o

Personally I'd rather do an enduro at a traditional circuit in the minis but I'll sign-up for this to test the water too. :)
 
My pc have problem,I think is my display card overheat,
my car stop on the track,can not run it,and then,I need reboot my machine,:(
Today is very no luck,I want finish race,**** my PC,
If my car that time stop on the track to crash gentlemen,sorry man

yes thats the 1, before i was changing down to 4th, but this seemed to be unsetly the rear and once i did even get back on track the other side. your obviously not trying enogh lol. now i keep it in 5th wide in, almost straight line 1st bit then down to 4th just before the left.

that twisty bit is totaly wrong, the bank on the right should be almost flat.

Q. went really well, i manged to get 5th. :cool:

R. decided not to pit for fuel, just tyres if needed. got a great start and slotted into 2nd through T1.Lap 2 Oliver got past, and i was being hounded in the corners by the chasing pack. but once on the straights that Dodge can`t half move. then being of Lap3 i saw Oliver stationary and neil said theres was lag. then all the car vanished NOOOO it was me. lost connection Totaly gutted.

hope no one`s race got affected. going to offi now for some beers. :violin::frusty:

GTR Evo is more demanding on your pc than Race, try turning down your graphic settings. i`ve quite a few people have this problem including me.
 
Hi,

From a 1/4 maybe 1/2 round on the first lap my engine was over heating. It was fine when I was doing offline practice. in the end the engine died on lap 5.

Also the car was handling different along the straight from when I was doing offline practicing couldn't keep it in a straight line sometimes.
 
dont press pit-in button when serving penalties, enter pit lane.

It works fine if you request a pit stop then enter the pits - just leave the pit menu up :)

Was pretty good fun for a bit until i got a stop and go for cutting the track less than i ever did in qualifying (where it didn't say anything). 2 wheels over a curb in a chicane was enough to give me another stop and go so i decided that i would probably end up getting more anyway and that it had ruined my race so i just quit. The cutting rules on Monza are just stupid - you drive around a corner and most of the time it will complain.

I've driven quite a few UK tracks in real life and Cadwell doesn't feel right.
Brands Hatch spot on
Silverstone early version same (1970 ish)
Later silversone versions not driven
Mallory Park (GPL) perfect
Crystal Palace (GTR GTL & GPL) Spot on (My favorite)
Knockhill (Very Close)
Oulton Park (Only driven Club ) seems good
Thruxton (not tried yet)
Castle Coombe (really good) both types
Lydden Hill (GPL) very close
Snetterton ( almost perfect)
Donnington (Seems very close)
All race 07 except where otherwise stated.
Other Race Drivers opinions may vary but these are my thoughts.
