lus1: ... I only did a couple of laps to test some things out, but one was in an Aston and one in a Xtreme Beemer and neither of them are showing up today despite the server saying it was updated today at 04:00 ish CET.

I am guessing here, but maybe the log info located in a different directory since the latest game patch last week?

I think this needs clarifying more because it's not that simple, it's up to the lapping driver behind to start an overtaking manoeuvre and not the driver in front to move over straight away

Do not alter your line or braking for a faster car behind you. Unpredictable moves have a way of ending the race for both of you. Let the faster car dictate when and where to initiate a pass, and only then you are free to assist by easing off the throttle.

LOl Keith. You must have been watching me in the first race start, I did exactly the same thing. At least we both know how far not to takes the revs before dropping the clutch. I wonder who'll be next. :laugh2:

Can I just say i thought there was a fair bit of speeding in the pit lane too. I came out of the pits, checked back and there was a stream of cars (during qualifying) so I had to stop. Then someone emerged from the pits at full speed and joined between this stream of cars, which if it had been me on a hotlap it would really have put me off.

That would have been me I think. In race 2 on lap 1 coming up to the final turn my computer froze for about a second or two. Sorry about that ken, not sure what happened.

The new patch has sometimes caused my computer to "freeze" for 1 or 2 seconds.

I thought you had to submit a replay or screenshot to get credit.

This event is strictly limited to 25 slots and sign-ups will close at the start of the event or if slots are filled (unless otherwise stated).

Any reserve drivers on the server prior to the event must leave as soon as the practice session begins.

In the last 15 minutes of practice, a post will be made in this thread to indicate the number of free slots. Reserves must post in this thread to indicate they are taking one of those slots.

Drivers who haven't joined the server when the reserves are called will lose their slot and have to post for free slots with the rest of the reserves.

The reserve list is only for people who are able to attend the event.
