This event was so so for me. Lost some ground in both races during the early stage. Being so close on pace with Tyler, Eric N and Peter, it was near impossible to make up larger gaps.

R1: Got a decent start, but got it a little sideways out of T2 and lost a lot of ground. Was about 3-4 seconds behind Tyler and Eric N for a few laps. Then Tyler made a mistake and I slipped by into 4th. Had a nice little battle with Tyler and was very lucky to hold on to 4th when I ran off and Tyler kindly enough followed me into the kitty liter. Thanks man! :D

R2: Was on Peters tail as we came up on Dennis. Dennis was fighting hard to not let us through. I drifted a little wide coming up over the bend on front straight and bumped into the side of Peter. I lifted and let him regain his position. We were on Dennis's tail again within a couple of turns. Peter managed to slip by coming out of T4 on to the straight. While I had a bit of a run on Dennis, there just wasn't enough room for me to make a pass. In T5 Dennis gets it really sideways and his car is virtually a moving road block. I tried my best to keep it tight and squeeze by, but couldn't quite manage to avoid him. I clipped his front fender and Dennis went flying of track. Not sure whether to wait or not, I lifted momentarily. This was enough to not only allow Peter to get away, but also Yves to slip by. I eventually decided that it had been a racing incident and kept going, but by now I was way down on the guys up a head, so I just put her in cruise and did my laps. Tyler was having a few problem again and I eventually passed him for 4th again, as he was recovering from a spin. For the most part this was a very boring race. I was alone from 3 on with huge gaps to the front and back of me to the very end.

@ Stefan>>>>>>>>>> LOL what can I say, Age is not your friend when it comes to the brain. You'll find out soon enough!:pill:

@Yves>>>>>>>tricks and treachery! Whatever fills the grid!:letsgoracing:

@Glenn>>>>>>>>You didn't even notice your name was mispelled!? one of you has to turn yourself into the authorities!:drink:

and for all of you, I don;t see one of you guys signed up for the wet MINI race except the new guy! I guess your scared of balling it up in the barriers?

As my copy of Race On arrived today I gotta book a race here to see how I fare compared to other RD members. Bots don't tell squat, but it seems that I'm in for some real close racing (had some Race 07 for supper today).

To make long story short: sign me up :).

BTW: what's all that hassle about the Volvo? Not that I really care since I'm an RWD-only guy, but I hate hearing someone discussing something I don't even have a blunt idea about.
