    gib me sloot!!!

really enjoying these, fast yet manageable and they make a good noise.

would it be possible to hold a skin content to add some variety to the field?

I'm afraid not. While the occasional mod will be used in the club, we try to keep it to an absolute minimum to reduce hassle both on our end and for members. :)

sign me up. last time i raced here on imola people used all the track the game allows you to use, which is really generous around here. do we use the white lines as track limits as per the rules or the ingame cut detection?

It is always the lines, as per the club racing rules. Anyone abusing the limits and/or our rules risks a penalty if caught.

This may be the rule, but I often see cars outside what I would assume are the limits. In the Brands Hatch NSU RD race in RRE last week, several of the fast cars were 3 meters deep in the grass. I didn't realize until I watched the replays to find out where I lost time. There was lattice out in the grass, so guys found it and the game gives no penalty at the 26 second mark at Brands.

Then report it. Our rules and penalties are heavily dependent on the eyes of our members because we few staff cannot watch everybody at the same time. (We're racers too, so quite often the only person we can watch is the guy in front.) People choosing to do nothing is what leads to people continuing to break the rules, which is observed by others who then decided to break the rules too rather than report it, until everybody is breaking the rules. Then what do we have? Public server mentality.

So it's up to you guys. If you want clean, fair racing then you need to do your bit too, keep your eyes peeled, and help us out! :)

(Bear in mind, though, that there's a distinction between intentionally going over the track limits and unintentionally running wide without gaining an advantage from it. Plus there's been quite a few new people recently racing in the R3E races who might not be as familiar with the RD racing rules as you would expect, so it might not be a bad idea to contact them and just ask if they are aware.)

A friendly reminder in the forum every month would be enough. I don't think anyone was intentionally breaking the rule as the flag rules were on and there was no penalty. We have also seen the opposite where a limit is too close. An FRJ race last month comes to mind.
