Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

Same event : Bjorn waldegaard ( rally legend ) wins race in the last corner, in a car we all drive a lot at the moment ( 911 RS) he is a bit hard on the shifter ( that sound reminds of the GRRRRR

No it's just one mod, you get more than 50 cars and its just a blast to drive !

Wow...the real cars seem to be more forgiving than the virtual ones...if we do that in the game we would have a blown engine before we can even say shift

You should be fine if you follow the manual closely though, it's all in there:

Driving with 900 degrees and a shifter is heavily recommended, be sure to copy the FFB realfeel settings from the file specified in the manual (Games\Historic GT & Touring Cars\HistoricGT_misc\G25_FF_Controller.txt) and not the manual itself to have proper HistorX FFB.
Hope you like the mod, it takes getting used to but is rewarding like barely anything else in simracing.

We'll stay in the same country for next week but the track will be much more relaxing, i promise. One of the cars won't be though, we haven't driven that one at all yet

Don't worry, quite a few of us will struggle as some bumps on corner exits make this car/track combo a bit challenging but also very immersive imo.
Just have fun and get warm with the cars step by step

This was good fun again. Indeed the track wasn't as easy as it looked, but most of us got the hang of it quite well I think.

For R1 I picked the Alfa, which looks & sounds great, but turned out to be pretty fragile as well.. Apparently I did sth wrong at the start, because halfway L1 I had only 9% engine health left

.
So I carefully nursed my car through the race, short-shifting a lot, and I made it to the finish, which was the goal I had set for myself..
Race 2, The Alpine, quite a different cookie. Thanks to Jarek -again- being so kind as to share some setups, this car drove surprisingly well! Couldn't help myself from spinning a few times though, but again I managed to reach the end

Thanks all for racing, Thanks Jarek for the event and for sharing nice setups, Grats to all podium finishers, and hope to be back soon for more. Time permitting that is

As you may of see through the week the pit boxes were shared with this download this will sort out the problem back up you original as you will you need it to get on regular server.
To install unpack and drop into you main rfactor/HistorX folder were the exe sits.
