Regarding the Monaco track, you've posted a link to version 1.0 - but I've got a version 1.1 on my PC. Will my version work? Don't know what's been corrected in the 1.1 but perhaps it's worth to investigate it...

EDIT:Taken from the 1.1 readme:
Updated readme with all proper credits. Please extract to your "Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\"Playername"\race 07" folder and allow to overwrite. This will cause no online mismatches.

Guess it doesn't matter if you have the 1.0 or the 1.1 ...

V1.1 and V1 are compatible ... only difference is proper credits in V1.1 in a readme file and does not cause version mismatches on servers ...

yep, no worries - we used the linked monaco track for a mini event the other friday night.... 1.1 just adds some details to the credits file - and is purely a "moral" fix

One flaw about this track I found last time out ... if you're gonna crash anywhere during the race, don't crash into the bushes on right hand side of last 2 or 3 turns ... as once through them you enter another "sub world", and can only return by quitting back to garage (Esc key).

Also ... seem to remember there were questions regarding max number of cars on grid being limited to 18 - can't remember whether that was resolved or not and what the final outcome was ... think it was OK, but just wanted to check
