Hi guys. Was hoping to be there for this but have my grand kids staying over so it's unlikely, but will be there if possible. Did a couple of laps the other night in single player mode, off the pace a bit. Was on the limiter in top a third of the way down con-rod?? Am I missing something? :O_o:
For future events in AMS don't forget to consider the 74 Porsche mod, know I've mentioned them before but the best drive in AMS in my humble opinion, would be a hoot with you guys :)

we are all hitting the limiter Ian. Hopefully you can make it.

Doesn't matter if you can set a good quali time, but have such shite launches at start. In both races I lost like 4-5 spots before the first corner :p. I think I am finally starting to figure this track out though...even though when I get into the twisty parts I feel like it is a cr*pshoot whether or not I am on the right line. In R2, I thought I was putting in some good laps and could maybe challenge Brodie, but then he keeps pulling away and is doing 2:12s....dammit.

Your speed was really quick tonight Fred:) You had an awesome quali

Thanks for the race guys. I had a great time racing tonight, definitely a good get away from my hectic work schedule recently. Had a blast racing with @Jamie in race 1, very intense up to the very last corner... where i ****ed it up totally :roflmao:
@baker048 i believe i tapped u on the first lap of race 2 before Forrest's Elbow, i'm not sure if that cause you to loss it going out of the corner. If so i sincerely apologise for my mistake.:)

Fred’s been on it lately. He had good pace at Mugello too, if my memory serves me correctly.

Good racing with you guys again today. I enjoy racing the mountain... even if the MCR 2000 needs a 6th gear!

:p

Good battles with a few, and a close chase at the end of race two had the 15 lap races go by in a flash.

Great fun.

Cheers

Well that was fun, even after only running the car for a few laps a few hours before the race. Still unsure if I'd find the 1-2 seconds to catch up to Jamie and Eric's times even with more practice.

Silly mistake in race 1 when my wife distracted me tapping on the shoulder coming into forests elbow, and I snatched at 2nd gear parking it in a horrible spot on the inside completely blind to everyone. Sorry for those I impeded.

Race 2 found some more pace and had a great time trying to hold off Tony.
