While waiting for the official templates of the Dream Pack cars, I started to mess around with the carpaint.map and metal_detail files of the P1 McLaren

fixed error loading skin : # symbol in ui_json file is replaced by numbers, added new suits

Sunny Sky Speed updated Starter skin pack for McLaren P1 with a new update entry:

adjusted rims and seats to go with car exterior colour + 5 new skins

This pack, off course, will keep evolving and the more files are available the more variety I can offer in this pack.
Today it's an update for the rims and the seats, to match exterior car colours.
Also 5 new skins, called Automotive skins, the main difference is that the carbon part is now coloured in a contrasting colour or in the car colour. Love it or hate it, just experimenting here.

Where do I put the folders ? I can't find this car or any other dream pack cars in the content folder of assetto corsa .

I take it you did buy the dream pack? The cars are in content\cars folder they all begin with ks

This pack has a pretty low download rate, suggiestions anyone why or where it can be improved? The Laferrari and 458 skin pack are way more succesful, off course they are way more complicated and have wider variety.

I found them yes, but there are no templates for these cars under the dev folder with the older assetto cars that I can find.

Kunos hasn't released the official templates yet, but there's a site on AC forum where someone has rendered all templates of the Dream pack, this is the link...

I think a skin pack of GTR lookalikes with matching colours and tyres, brakes etc will look amazing. Similar to this but with your added magic.

Working on it.... need some time to find best pattern and see what's what. If I rush it, things can go siseways. Already got a basic abstract paint image of the template, but a lot of work left and wife and kids want daddy to stay of computer :-(

It's coming. I can't make the skin look like the GTR skin cause that would be too copycat like. I hope you like this one too...it's 95% finished. Now I really need to sleep.
Any suggestion to make the skin (even) more appealing? Maybe some more stickers/decals? Carbon fibre in stead of black parts?
By the way, what's the tyre file name? I want to create my own tyres for it.
