wow, this track got the best of me. i tried everything as far as setups go. i tried all of the quick setups, i tried most of the ones posted in this thread, i tried max downforce, i tried top end speed. the best i could manage was 1:50:xx. that was using sir jim or slim's setup which i found was the most controllable. i could only muster up a 24th place finish, the worst of my career so far. i won the race prior so i dont get what happened here.

i felt i put in the best possible lap i could and i was still slowest. i even turned on the racing line in a practice session to see if i was doing something wrong. i spent all practice sessions testing out the curbs but no luck there either.

just wasnt my track i guess.

ps3, logitech dfgt, force india career mode.

147.1 in a McLaren Season 3 with everything on. I take it these times posted cannot be gotten close to without turning assists off!
P.s This was with the Gl4dia70r settings.
This was set on PS3 with the pad!

This got me pole on Professional difficulty (high 1:47). I'm sure many of you could do better, as I'm not the greatest race driver, but the car feels good to drive. Maybe you could mess with the gearing a little, as with this you take the last corner in the low 5th, so acceleration out of it is not great, but I haven't noticed any other issues. Except the curbs. The curbs here are made of concentrated primordial evil.

that setup is good. it made me 2 seconds faster. 1.45.600 with lotus, pc , momo wheel, pro. i could get 2 more seconds, but curbs make me spin too much.

1:46.943

Hands down the hardest track I've encountered so far in this game. Tried many different set ups with no success, out of frustration I let the team engineer use the set up for dry tracks. For the Toro Rosso I drive it was a difference between night and day, still though the curbs are hard to master and very unforgiving.

I got fed up with the other setups. it was either you could hit the curbs but can't turn to save your life, or you can turn but if you graze a curb you go sliding into a wall. i just made this one today and drove a pretty sloppy lap and still got a 1:42.936 in a torro rosso in career..

Great setup I thought I was going to DNF this race because know of the previous setup match my driving style.

This setup is slight aggressive yet very easy on the limit.
I was able to do a 1.45 low pole lap in qualifying with options as this setup give me a pedestrian 1.48 on prime.
So during the race I ran consistent 1.46 for 10 laps with the exception of lap 6 when Webber pitted I manage a 1.44.725. Was going to pit on lap 11 but had a puncture just before the pit straight so i cut over to the pit lane.

Times were in a Williams which is very forgiving.

Good Luck!

Very good setup, managed 1:42.247 with Force India, No Assists, manual gears, 360 controller

Honestly the setups posted throughout this section of the forum really make me scratch my head . . . one setup with 1-1 wing and another with 10-11 for the same track and conditions??? plus so many setups posted and people randomly replying "great setup, just did a 1.xx" without referencing which setup they used. Better off just using the defaults and saving myself the headache.

Well wing setup is very easy to answer. It depends on which sector you want to be fast at. a low aero setup will give you blistering Sector 1 time but you have to be careful with kerbs in sector 2 and 3. It just a matter of what is your car good at. Or how you like to drive, high speed and late braking or high speed through corners.

Great set up!

Just did 1:45:035. Q3. Season 2 on Renault. Legend AI. Assists: TC Full, ABS On.

Xbox 360 with controller.

Thanks a lot!

So my time is real and I am glad that I myself have not had such errors.
I hope this a good set up, but man must always involve your riding Steal!
I hope I could help and I will of course continue to work to deliver results!
Have fun testing.)
PS / I have been playing with the X-Box 360 :)

I agree. This track is evil and HRT is nowhere near competitive. Especially on this track. I have no idea how I'm gonna go through this race besides getting stressed out and smashing the car. Will try to take out as many opponents as possible. lol
