Leon 2007 vs Leon 2008 TDI setups

Hello,

this year I've decided to give the Leon TDI a try. Since I have almost all of the setups already prepared for the Leon 2007 (petrol fueled), I was wondering what I should take care of when tuning up setups for TDI.

OK, one thing sure are gear ratios, but as far as I know TDIs have problem with understeering and increased front tyre wear. So, what to do to decrease tyre wear. Are there any other specifics related to TDIs?

Apart from the sound i havent experienced anything of what you described. Imho the TDI is just the same as the TFSI but then with less sound
