Le Mans Lap Time in 919 (2016)

What lap time should i achieve to get in a competitive team on le mans? Just curious to know

Would be very interesting to me also. I am not in search of online competition but if the track concerned is Le Mans 2017 (based on LeMans 2012 for GTR2/Rfactor) could you tell me what times you achieve in 919?
I am only able to do about 3:40 in TS040 in AC (absolutely no chance of flat out through Porsche curves) on that track. (in GTR2 I did easily sub 3:25 in Le Mans 2012 and sub 3:20 in SAJones Le Mans 2013 in a 919.)

im on 3:41:2 for the TS040 @ Le Mans. great car to drive. The Porsche 919 seems way quicker though as that was leaving me for dead everywhere during my last race.

I think I did a 3:23 in the 2016 Porsche 919 at Le Mans 2017

I managed 3:27 in the 2015 919 but I can't do it consistently as my concentration levels are knackered after a stroke.

3:23 in 919 is very good I guess on this track. Looks from posts here, that the 919 is really faster than Toyota. Maybe it is something about my setup also but doubt it would make big difference.
Can you go really fast through Porsche curves?
How do you use the hybrid?
This is known issue but since LM is much longer than "normal" tracks, the hybrid power is only sufficient for ca. half of the lap at La Sarthe.
I am using the charging mode only and run out of electric power completely before Porsche curves, when I save it the best I can.

The Porsche is from 2016, the Toyota from 2014. The 919 has more energy available than the Toyota and is in general the faster car thanks to aerodynamic development. You cant really compare the TS040 to the 919 from 2016

Is it the 2016 919 ?
If you look it up, you will see that actually the LMP1 cars from 2014 and 2016 were more similliar in laptimes.
2015 Porsche and Audi were much faster than the cars from both 2014 and 2016.
Then the 2017 Toyota broke the record in Qualifying but the race lap record from 2015 - Audi at 3:17 still stands.

Is there some mod to make the hybrid sufiicient for the whole lap for TS 040 ?

you can add weight in a championship. Thats how I am doing it. I add 200kg to the Porsche 919s (2015). Then, they are a bit slower than the 2014 cars but dont have to pit as often as the 2014 cars

There is another option out there. Have you uys ever heard from a little tool called ac car tuner. i updated the all lmp 1 cars from kunos, to match it to the real life standards. And it works, even with the ai. Of course, i have to create a balance of performance, bu after long hours of experiments and frustration, i created a perfect fomular and now it works.
