First quali - hit the tyres on my hotlap coming out of the second chicane. Smoke was pouring out and it told me my race was over but the car was still running fine and I got a 1:38
Second quali just a normal 1:34
Tried the start with auto clutch off to see the difference. Did seem to get away slowly
Race 1 - off the start okay, a bit slow. Then i became the filling in a sandwhich of Laurence and Armco bread, unfortunately laurence spun but as I was going in a straight line and braking fully there wasn't anything I could do . Anyway, managed to finish the race which is always a bonus on Pau . finished 5th I think
Race 2 - another slow start. Back down to last place after a couple of corners. Went past a couple of people at the side of the road... came accross, err whoever lost lots of places after spinning... then took T1 weirdly and got wedged in the barrier.. force feedback went a bit crazy. Thought about carrying on but my suspension was pretty meh.

as per the RD Club, we require you to race under your full RL name, it is easy to change in the .plr file.

Gunthar, wouldn't it be easier for Jaius to simply create a second profile? That's what I do.

Bram I did have it installed when i lagged out but then i deleted it and Andrew set up a pau event and people lagged out again so it can't be the Escort mod

Im on a fresh install of R07 on monday,only a small ammount of add on tracks and skins have been gradually added over this week to do events at,all no problems until tonight.

it's nowt to do with the escort mod, it's something to do with the 30 client hack - i will post more on it later....

For the first time in quite sometime i actually enjoyed tonight's race and this made me realise why i got into racing

Had a good fight with Dietmar as mentioned, a couple of offs causing us to change position's and and on lap 2 i thought i had Dietmar on the straight but as i took to much speed going into the corner i thought it was best to brake a bit earlier and move over a little so there was no coming together and giving the position back in the process.

There was not much else to say really i came off a couple of times in exactly the same place but never stacked it into the barrier or tyre walls so was well chuffed with myself after my previous attempts in the mini's which have been horrendous.

So all in all i finished 7th 20+ secs behind 6th but 12+ secs ahead off 8th so i am a happy little bunny as that makes my best result so far in the mini's

Looking forward now to tonight's race

I didn`t even notice that there was a huge disconnection from a lot of drivers. It just felt a bit strange to me, cause there was suddenly 10 -12 drivers left on the server. I thought there could be a huge pile up or something. I really didn`t see anything wrong with the server.
It`s just a shame, I didn`t get any serious challenge, next time maybe

Ignore this Andrew I have just tried them out and no way can i drive them, skid off and spin everywhere, to heavy footed so please do not add me to this event.

I did't have a disconnected, but as posted I wanted to join and got a Minidump (currently switching between 2 OSs due to some Graphics issues under Vista 64). I guess my XP environment, which was causing the trouble, has more mods (e.g. tracks) installed than the Vista. But I do not have the Escort mod installed.

But I had a strange effect at some point in time last night. I think it was Yves who appeared for seconds randomly somewhere and disappeared again. But that turned back to normal, I guess after I returned to the pit (this was during the training session).
