My laptop is moving into the antique category with some flakiness and I'm looking at upgrading. The usage mostly will be for generalized computing with an emphasis on video and graphics applications. For sure some light/medium gaming is going to be part of it, but I have a dedicated machine for the "real stuff". The price/performance points seem to be best in the Core 2 Duo P8800 and Core I7-720QM areas. Any thoughts?
