Not by me it would seem Dietmar... I am having major computer issues. It would seems that my hd is dying AGAIN!!! (2nd one since September, can anyone suggest a reliable brand, Seagate have failed the test!)

I've only just bought this game last weekend and haven't had much of a chance to play it yet, but I might wander in for a race tonight, if it's ok - am just downloading the track and camera patch at the moment.

Don't expect to be racing anyone but the clock, but thats cool.

Can't wait to get back on track after my pityful effort in GTL this morning

Wow, a 1:25.4 is one hell of a time on the default setup. We were side by side for nearly half a lap starting before T1 down the front straight. You were hanging on for dear life. I was doing all I could to get by, but every time I thought I had you, you come right back - sometimes even around the outside. Fun stuff.

I've had problems with Seagate at work and at home...when they started packing up at work they went through the entire staff (80+ developers) and replaced them with Western Digital drives, none have failed since that I know of...anyway, hope you can make it tonight!

Dont worry mate, you can cruise around the back with me.

I put the camera patch in the Melbourne track folder, it replaces the origianl .cam file...

I am actually driving pretty much with the default setup, only gears and differential changed sligthly.

Reminder to myself: The last backup is more than a year old!

To Cam:
I actually got very specfic about my HD, but everybody made different experiences. I must say, I never lost one, at least due to hardware failure.

When ever I get a HD I check Hitachi, the usually have different series, check their web page, the have 'consumer' disks and differen professional series. They provide even expected lifetimes. The high quality is unfortunately also a little bit more expensive. But when I see test and a Hitachi is good, it is never a cheap one.

Currently I am actually running a Samsung, so far so good for about 2 years... (knocks on wood)
