This is not an exact conversion, because I haven't seen the original cars in rF. They could not be selected.
There were so many variants, upgrades of car body and engines.

Hey,
it's being a long time, but I'm still playing gtr evolution / race.
I enjoy your great work on new cars, thanks for all of them!
Maybe, you could help me out a little bit:
I found the pc games DTM Race Driver 2 and 3 (also known as Toca 2 + 3)... good times... and was thinking about, if it would be possible to convert the cars to GTR Evo?
Because there are some very interesting cars, e.g. Ford GT90, Bowler Wildcat and of course the Mitsubishi 3000.
Sadly, I'm not very good at working on 3ds models. So I thought, that maybe you can help me?
I can take a look over the other stuff like engine, steering, tires etc.

Everything depends if I can open the files.
Adding a GTR2 car is not a conversion, rather an adaptation, because both games use the same files. It usually takes one to few days.
rFactor uses the same GMT format, but a different version and different shaders, so the work may take a month.
Assetto Corsa cars must be completely converted, models, textures and shaders. It takes a few months.
Cars from other games may be easy or very hard to do. Usually they must be resized and rebuilt. I may try, but I don't promise that I will finish them.

Do you need the original Files? I remember, that there was a tool for extraction / decryption of the DTM / Toca bigs.

I see that Mitsu 3000 has not been done for GTR2 yet, because the most of sport cars and racing cars are already done for GTR2.
I am more interested in retro cars, SUVs, pickups, trucks and normal street cars.
From these I am interested in:
