Anyone got any set-ups for a stock HRT car? In particular Malaysia. I just finished Australia, took me about 5 hours to go through all the practise sessions then qualifying. Qualified 14th then I lost all pace in the race and ended up 8th just in-front of my team mate Senna. Think my best time was only 1:31.5. Although i got a 1:30.4xx in qualifying. So any set-ups to try and get me a championship point would be much appreciated

My time 1:31.631
My mate's time 1.30.935

But 2 second faster is definetly possible

This setup works good for manual shifting don't use the 1 and 7 gear
Also very good when using automatic

Thanks for the setup.

I am currently doing a 7 year career with virgin on all the hardest settings possible. Using the above setup i can not crack 1:40... maybe with a bit more practice a 1:39 or even a 1:38 is possible. Would you say that this time is quick for the car i am using?? its def no Mclaren... just wondering cause i seem to be struggling for this race weekend...

Damn that's a quick setup. I drove a low 38 with the standard setup, but in my first lap with this one I drove a 34:5xx.

Nice

hi,
i am doign a 7 year season with virgin also.
I can manage 1:35:714...ssee time trial leaderboards, using no assists other than automatic gear change and the above head camera for racing. position 438. im sure i can knock about a second off that as that was my first good lap with it.

Try this out and let me know how you get on.

Here is my set up:

hmmm... for me it doesn't make any difference. my lap records with your setups and default setups are pretty much the same.

Just did a 1:30:825 with your setup! thanks!!

Whose setup you use? There are more than one in the thread. Think people, think! Other users might have no idea of which is it if you don't clearly say it! =)

Am doing 1:30.822 with Fallas' setup. I beat your mate. Great setup. :)

This! Of course, the Lotus won't go that fast but still, best setup for it so far. I'm tweaking a little here and there to adjust it to my KB driving style but Fallas' definitely works! Got 1:36.5 (Lotus, P1, Season 1, career) with it but the gearbox feels weird! I'm trying lots of small changes, one at a time, but couldn't match my time with this weird and fast-a-lot setup.

EDIT: This is ackward indeed. Tweaking a bit from the Default Highest Speed setup, the car feels very balanced, responsive, fast but I can't make it under 1:37.1. Actually, i was in 3rd on P3 with 1:37.177 against 1:37.174 from Button (grrrrr 0.003!!!) and 1:37.125 by Seb. Switching back to Fallas, boom, 1:36.500 on the dot.

Definitely, imho, the magic in this setup is in this crazy gearbox adjustments and how it works perfectly for the turns in this track. Real pity that this game doesn't give us the Gear Ratio like GP4, for instance. I'd love to see what this gearbox adjustment would look like when converted to Gear Ratio xx:64.

1.30.882 with Fallas Setup and Gamepad.
low 1.30 possible for me with manual shifting.

Hi to everyone
I am playing Xbox 360 version
I am currently in my first career season in Round 3 Malaysia.
I cannot manage to get my times with HRT under 1:39:8xx
I tested Fallas and Primonec and Ramon setups
In this circuit the pace between the rest of the cars and me are bigger than Bahrain and Australia circuits and I don't know why

If anyone can help me I will be appreciated

Thanks in advance

:)
