Not sure if this will help you but this is what I did with my GT Omega Wheelstand. I know you don't have a rig but these could possibly be mounted to a desk. The stands are these cheap Stagg MUS-ARM 1's. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Stagg-MUS-ARM-Small-Music-Stand/dp/B000OR7X1S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408623624&sr=8-1&keywords=mus arm1 . I'm from Ireland so they definitely will ship to Northern Ireland.

The perforations mean you can hide cabling behind the stand or use then for ties etc. The stand tops can also be removed when not in use to store and save space. I'm going to throw 2 tablets on top of them for telemetry once I finish my main PC build and they should take an 8" tablet each.

Nice job @Juris i need to get something like this for my rig.
Im using a foot stool at the moment which gets in the way.
I didnt know you were irish as well :)
Thanks man. I spent a stupid amount of time trying to find something like this. I had found them in Louth as well but they didn't have them in stock at the time so I had to go with Amazon. Heres the Irish link. http://soundshop.ie/product/stagg/mus-arm-1-small-music-stand-with-arm-clamp

Yep I'm Irish. North Dub who crossed the border to the southside a while ago. Its more like a prolonged raid :)

Edit: oh btw was meant to say the angle of the plates can be changed as well without tools so you don't need to have them sitting at the angle I'm using if it doesn't suit.

Eh cheers. I've never had a man say that to me before. Kinda worried :). Heres the link. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301112254647?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

I have some setup instructions here. http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/show-your-cockpit.19/page-118
Sorry Juris i'm just in one of them moods today, don't get too excited. Thanks for link, i will get one ordered and follow your instructions. As for Jim's question I use one of these and just fold it away when I don't need it.

I am looking for something similar for my rig - I may give that music stand a go. I can always find a way to clamp the keyboard to it.

It's just a sturdy, metal computer desk with the perforations allowing me to bolt things to it. I attached a slab of wood under the perforated shelf to add weight and give the wheel something solid to grip on.

Only thing I'm struggling with is how to get the keyboard to stay put :coffee:

Slightly off topic, but how do you use a tablet for Race Telemetry? :O_o:

I'm using Dashmeter Pro for Android. It connects wirelessly to the PC and displays telemetry data on the tab. Costs something like €5 but worth it. There is also Hud Dash which has a free version limited to 3 items on screen. Graphically superior to Dashmeter Pro but I haven't had much of a chance to test it out lately (or even do any racing) but I should have a bit more free time coming up soon to check it out.
