Featured KartKraft Now Has Setup Options

    A new build of KartKraft has been deployed - adding the ability to tinker with kart setups for the first time.


    The new build released earlier today brings the simulation up to version 0.1.0.1754 and gives players their first opportunity to access and alter the setup options across all karts currently featured within the title.

    Although quite comprehensive in the new build, Black Delta have confirmed additional tweaks such as torsion bars, hubs and gear sprockets will be added in a future release, once part equipping/swapping has been introduced to the simulation further into the development cycle.

    Although the inclusion of setup options is likely to form the main point of interest in the new build, Black Delta have also confirmed the team have been reviewing the ongoing issues with karts rolling over when using excessive curbs, something they believe they have resolved in the new build by modifying the curbs found within the circuits currently available in the game. As part of this fix, leader board times have been reset throughout.

    Build 0.1.0.1754 update notes:

    New Features
    • Added vehicle tuning and the ability to save these modifications to custom setups
    • Added sector times to the leaderboards
    Fixes/Tweaks
    • Telemetry output now contains world velocity, track name, sector count, current sector.
    • Low-speed slip angle telemetry output no longer oscillates
    • Added wheel slip angle and contact surface telemetry output
    • Fixed bug where the depth of field sliders in photo mode had no effect

    KartKraft is available now exclusively for PC.

    Geelong kart club, Go kart club of Victoria and PFI, with another track comming this month as indicated by their road map (Atlanta motorsports park).

    Still missing multiplayer and 125 shifter. Overall great kart sim.

    Multiplayer only in august unfortunately and not fully featured. Take a look at their road map: https://www.kartkraftgame.com
    It looks promising and the last update really improved the kart handling!

    Right now there are 3 tracks currently in the game as the track names mentioned in a previous post here in this thread. Was told there will be 5 tracks from a developer on their Discord channel and there will be modding capabilities sometime in the future with KartKraft. Whether the developers will go beyond the 5 tracks is unknown.
