My name is Angelo from The Netherlands.
I'm 31 years old and owner of my own company in the entertainment bussiness.
In the past I started with arcade race games like GRID, Dirt, Forza Horizon etc. with an controller.
Tried a few times with an race wheel (Logitech G27) and played games like DIRT3, F1 etc.
Have also tried Project Cars 2, but i couldnt control my cars (heavy feet and could not manage Traction).
This year i recently discover Assetto Corsa Competzione and iRacing.
iRacing look great, but expesive as an casual / new sim racer.
So i just started with ACC and watch some track guides , basic setups and mostly steal some setups, because i still have to learn alot about it. It could be hard to analyse your own data.
I dont compare my self to mutch with other players.
People are driving Nurnberg 1.54s. My best is still 1.59.7.. in the old Ferrari GT3 (not the EVO edition)
and an lack of acknowledge of setups and still learning the tracks turns en gears.
My rig (PC setup) is not the greatest.
I'm using an Logitech G29 (Don't use the shifter in racing)
My wheel is connected at my table (only fitted with the clams) and sometimes it moves or in the worst case, it getting off my table completly.
The second worst thing about is, is just my chair has wheels on it.
So it is not an fixed / sturdy setup.
But i'm just started more racing, think that an full race setup doesnt make me quicker.
Only more consistences lap by lap.
I could understand that i wont ever hit 1.54s at Nurnberg, but i think i should get an 1.57s of it.
Even with my "not so great" setup.
Maybe in 2022 I will upgrade my setup, but first of all, i have to learn more about setups, tracks etc.
If someony got any tips or tracks, They are very welcome.
