Can someone post a video of a fast S2 please? Im losing at least a second and im not sure where
Don't have a video but I can offer some advice. My guess is you're losing time through turn 8 aka the 5 apex turn (2nd turn after you get into S2). Ok what I do is keep accelerating out of the previous turn until I hit the top of 5th gear. Then keep the throttle about 1/3 open and HUG the corners until you get to the 2nd last one and then punch it so you end up on the outside able to make a good line through the last corner onto the straight. If you do it right you should be able to get into 6th gear just before you set up to go through the last corner. Down the straight brake at the 150 marker down to gear 2, turn so you just kiss the apex and then punch it. And that's it, S2 done!
I managed to qualify on pole with a time of 1:29:8xx with Virgin (1st Season). I am using the setup by Elrogos (page 3)
I know you probably figured this out since your post is 2 weeks old but this was the part of the track I had the most trouble with so I thought I would share for anyone else in the same spot. Now that I know how it goes, S2 is my favorite part of the track!
