Is there handbrake in Group A car?

I'm using RBR PRO. I used Group A rally cars(Subaru Impreza, Ford Escort, Audi 200 and Lancia HF) and I can't use handbrake.(It's too weak to slide the rear of the car.)

but I can see Colin use the handbrake in this video.

How can I use the handbrake in Group A cars in Richard Burns Rally?

As long as these cars have a viscous coupling center differential, the handbrake should work as expected.
But it depends on how strong the rear brakes are.
Furthermore it requires a little bit more than fake Dirt Rally 2.0 driving skills.
Make sure you load the front wheels and unload the rear before pulling the handbrake for a very short time.
A VC diff requires a significant difference in shaft speed front/rear before it locks, in this case, the front wheels.

thank you for clarifying this, WorkerBee!

its amazing to experience what these grpA cars feel like to drive. the ford escort especially has become a new favorite of mine :)

having these updated sim physics, combined with these classic rally cars is surreal.

Could someone explain how this would be done?
Should I brake before reaching the curve, turn and then apply the handbrake?

I notice that (with the Lancia Delta) if I get to the curve accelerating, turn and apply the handbrake, it does not seem to act.

Thanks in advance!
