Is it legal to save Twitter videos?

Hi. I need a couple of Twitter videos to be saved on my smartphone.
Is it legal to download their videos? Won't they sue me?

Maybe there is a safe way to do that?

Did you try to google your question?
There won't be any problems with Twitter until you start using a downloaded video for commercial purposes.

So it is safe to download videos form Twitter.
