Is 33 cars the max field size?

Hey guys,

Just a quick question. Is 33 cars the max grid size? Or is there a mod or something I can do to turn the max number up abit?

For single player, perhaps so, I believe the max is somewhere around there.

Multiplayer you can fit more in on a server. In the .gdb file of each track located in GSC/GameData/Locations/ there is an entry "Max Vehicles" which will tell you how many can race. Sometimes it is more than 33, sometimes it is less.

You can max the number of cars to the max of what the track is capable. I don't have my GSC around at the moment, but I believe you could change a line in the plr-settings, something like: quickrace max cars. I was able to run with nearly 100 cars at Nordschleife But this track is capable of it, don't know what happens when you load more cars than there are pits.

Cheers guys! Will have a look now Christian. I am pretty sure it loads two cars inside one another in one garage XD

It does indeed spawn cars inside of each other inside garages - if you notice a strange FPS hit when running with a higher number of cars go back to the garages and see some madness.

Oh man....you guys are so right. I laughed so hard at a few of the tracks and having to many drivers / cars and not enough pits. Before you even pull out of the garage you wreck your brains out and the AI are cartwheeling out of the garages.....Like the incredible hulk was tossing them out. Got a chuckle out of it haha.

Sounds like lots of fun but on tracks capable of more cars it should work

Buenos Aires 8, for example, that we used in the club last week, fits 44 cars.
