Why not make a virtual ride skin pack? Like the Celica GTO skin pack: Click here

Make little .mas files from the livery's, helmets, and driver suit .dds files: tutorial: click here

Some advantages:

- These are independent from version numbers.
- You don't need to un-install the up-date package no more to go online in multiplayer.
- You can use them online in multiplayer.
- Easy to add another car without repacking stuff.
- AI talents are adjustable to your liking.
- transferable with the in-game custom skin sharing in multiplayer

Note: the virtual ride's Driver name = Car description in the .veh file

If i use your awesome skin pack will i be using the older physics v1.5 or will it automatically use the newer physics v1.65 since it's a standalone mod? I believe not but could be wrong!

Really want to use this as it looks great however mysekf and AI have oval config on road courses.

How do I? or can I change this at all? I have a feeling I am being a bit stupid and am missing something simple.

I have just seen a thread over in the isi forum and the creator has re done the skins for the 1.65 update.

So that means the current version of the skins is the old 1.5 physics.


Good news though and hopefully won't be long till available.

I am really liking the dw12 now and the skins are excellent.

Matt88, thanks for this update as this answered my question as my thinking was since this was a standalone and not just a skin pack then by using the 1.5 skin pack i would be using the older/outdated 1.5 physics too.
