This is more a curiosity question open to modders specificly. I noticed that recently paid car mods like the last RSS, VRC etc. change the in game name corresponding to what is set in the UI, without touching the data file, while before, whataver I wrote in the UI, I still needed to change the car.ini inside data. Is it something happening to everyone or just to myself? If to everyone, is it done on purpose to allow a more personalized experienced without having the problem to fail the checksum in the online servers?
