Some pretty impressive looking images of the upcoming New Mexico DLC for American Truck Simulator have been released by SCS Software, prompting speculation that the new map expansion is very close to a public release.

American Truck Simulation has received a steady stream of updates and expansions since its release back in February 2016 following initial criticism that the game launched light on content and map scale. Ever keen to listen to the paying public, developers SCS Software have since worked tirelessly to both extend the scale of the current game map as well as bringing plenty of free and paid content to the trucking simulation.

In the spirit of firing up fans anticipation of a new release, SCS have revealed some more rather attractive images from the upcoming New Mexico DLC expansion, this time showcasing visual beauty of the region recreated within American Truck Simulator.

Unfortunately the development team have maintained their legendary reluctance to offer a release date for this new DLC package, but judging from the quality of these screenshots and previous images from the studio a release can't be far away now.

American Truck Simulator is a PC exclusive haulage simulation from SCS Software. The game and its older brother European Truck Sim 2 are both available to purchase from the Steam Network right now.

So, why on earth is this getting attention on the front page but not any of the two wheel racing games just released?
Only if it´s the right kind of racing game?
Because most racers on this site have a steering wheel and a rig. Racing with a controller is less common. Eventually RD might post some motorbike info to appease you, but in the meantime you're on the interwebz, so I'm sure you can find the desired information if you just try a little.

I shouldn't be too tough on Paul my friend. He's the only one who volunteers to write all these articles in his free time and he's been pretty busy over the last few weeks with Le Mans and the league reports, etc.

He did do an article on some two wheel racing titles a few weeks back so he does cover them but as @FlyGasm mentions probably about 80% of those on here use a wheel and pedals rather than race bikes on a controller.

Anyway, those screen shots looks amazing. Someone should give these guys a rallying licence or something, even if they only did the terrain rather than the car physics. The detail is just superb
