Sorry @Esox71 , forgot the ingame stuff. As usual adjust couple points of SAT depending on your liking, rest should be pretty ok.
Ingame Settings:
SAT - 57
WF - 24
TF - 60
SUS - 58
TS - 49
COL - 100
SL - 100
Thx...Do you use dampening in thrustmaster driver?
Amazing work you guys @TemplarGFX @Golanv really appreciate it.

Yeah you have to if you want to use Wheel Friction and Tire Friction, they function through Damper. Just like in AC damper, Damper from drivers doesn't have any other effects in DR than those two values.

My drivers are: 60, 100, 100, 0, 100, by game.

Thanks man:)

Anybody find good settings for Fanatec CSR? I really like the feel of the FFB, it's just very overpowering at times (mainly in the hill climb cars). If I lower SAT in game, the FFB loses most of the feel rather than just reducing the weight of the wheel.

Check out my post #59 on the 3rd page of this thread. Be sure to use Templar's V3 file along with my settings.

Wheel Weight is controlled via the Wheel Friction value rather than SAT value.

Did you try running through the setup instructions?

@TemplarGFX, w/ your G27, don't you have to some center deadzone (feels loose in the middle) especially at only 80% in profiler (tried the same even with 100%)? And rattling? Do you change steering linearity/saturation?

Anyone who still has Impact v3 care to share it? Sorry, accidentally deleted it. Thanks.

Thanks. I did this. I still don't have any resistance when the car is not moving. Is this normal?
Do you have Damper enabled in your wheel profiler? This creates that feeling

I do not notice any dead-zone, at least not like the original FFB file has. Perhaps Ive just gotten used to it?

I have all settings on defaults for advanced wheel setup. Try increasing in-game SAT to 107% to see if that helps (others have said it does)

Go to the History tab above for my mod and you can download the old versions

I don't. Here are my settings:

Here are the files in my folder. Is this correct?

Wheel Weight is controlled via the Wheel Friction value rather than SAT value.

Did you try running through the setup instructions?

I did try running through the setup instructions but setting all in-game settings to 100% with the CSR leads to massive clipping. I'm going to give the settings in post #59 on page 3 later today when I get a chance to play.

Check out my post #59 on the 3rd page of this thread. Be sure to use Templar's V3 file along with my settings.

Thanks David!

OK Ha WOW. No wonder.. Your wheel has 3 (!!) Mabuchi RS550 RC motors in it. I race RC cars so I know what those are.
http://www.mabuchi-motor.co.jp/cgi-bin/catalog/e_catalog.cgi?CAT_ID=rs_550pcvc
Look at those curves!

Edit your devicesetup_v2.xml and try these settings :
Code:
<!-- Fanatec CSR Elite Wheel -->
 <FFBDevice name="{00110EB7-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" scaleFriction="0.6"  scaleForce="0.45"/>

THANK YOU! FIXED IT.

Nathan, He said he has the regular CSR wheel. I don't think he has the CSR Elite wheel which has two motors which was the predecessor to the CSW.

The non-elite CSR wheel is just like the GT3rsV2.

CSR:

CSR_02-1000x666.png

Yup, the picture above is my wheel. I have CSR Elite Pedals, but just the regular CSR wheel.

Hi, I got them mixed up. I did mean you wheel (this one)
http://www.fanatec.com/eu-en/racing-wheels/forza-motorsport-csr-wheel-eu.html

It has those 3 motors. I thought it was the Elite but its just the CSR. What does your wheel report as in-game?
However, I'm wondering if this is actually a desired setting (to put damper to 100% to match overall strength)? Does it affect any other settings negatively? FWIW, it feels better, but from what I keep reading, the profiler should have 0% for damper. So confusing LOL.
Codemasters say have it at 100%. The more I research online, the more I realise that this general view that you should turn this off comes from specific games, and is not actually a logic that should be applied to all games by default.

Whatever it does in other games, CM seems to have utilized the function to create all resistances on the wheel from Tyre, Wheel and Steering Rack.
