Video guide

Hey Sim racers in this guide I will show you how to do setup a 24 Hours of Spa online server with a 10 minutes practice and 30 minutes race duration.

The race will start at 12:30 PM and finish the next day at 12:30 Pm.

Primer
Welcome to Highness and this guide is part of a new series where I show you to get the most out of Assetto Corsa with apps and mods like;

I’ll cover the Why, what and how.

Why
Finally, we can enjoy online races with day and night transitions!

Thanks for your time and attention.

Known bugs
Time rewinds after session ends
After Qualification or Race session ends the time appears to transition rapidly. This happens because the server attempts to rewinds the date/time back to time defined in the Weather FX Start time and Date.

May some one post a screenshot of the following screen? I can't find it.

Phase 3: Set race time
  1. In Content Manager/Server/Conditions
  2. Under Weather heading
  3. Click the 3 vertical dots to the right of the Clear weather dropdown
  4. Tick the Time checkbox to enable
  5. Set Time to 12:30
  6. Set Time multiplier to 48
  7. Tick the Specific date checkbox to enable
  8. Set Specific date to 07/27/2019
Is this permitted with single player against the AI?

I'm not sure if the time_of_day_mult is important but I basically just pasted all the stuff that looked like it might be necessary into our cfg and it works as intended.

Is there many servers up or any videos of racing

Been experimenting on my server the past few days, here's a stream of a 30 minute gt3 race @ Brands we tried the other day.
Ran with a x48 multiplier to give a full 24hr cycle.

http://www.twitch.tv/mrgit/v/381154736?sr=a&t=5812s

Bty, we're having a 1hr race tonight @ sebring, run with SRS rules (200% fuel 170% tyres) /w a x24 multiplier so we get the whole day/night/day in, everyone's welcome as long as they stick to my only rule... don't be a d***. :)
