How to make gear ratios

Hi,

I have been tuning one of my road cars to 1500hp, but I can't find a gear ratio from other mods that can cope with the power (i.e always at redline) can someone tell me how to make my own gear ratio or what the numbers in the gear.ini file mean??

The lower the number, the taller the gearing.

Taller gearing = more top speed, slower acceleration
Shorter gearing = lower top speed, faster acceleration

Example, a ratio of 1:3.5 will rev out a lot later than one of 1:7.5. The ratio is worked out by dividing the second number by the first. Like this:

[FINAL_DRIVE]
ratio=(10, 35) // 3.5
ratio=(10, 75) // 7.5

To add more final drives just add more lines to what's already there.
