how to host a server?

    hi guys everytime me and my mate try to host a server the host says it's up but we can never find it any idea's?

    Behind a router/firewall? You need to open some ports, I think it's 9500.

    Hi Ben,

    You can use this tool to both setup and join a server by specifying the IP / Port of the server you want to join.

    Again (like Senad mentioned). This will only work if you forward port 9500 on your router to the IP address of the NetKar Server on your local LAN.

    Also there's a bug that stops you from seeing all the available servers. I have to press refresh a lot (sometimes 20 odd times) to find my server. So even if you have everything setup correctly, you still may not be able to see it due to this bug.

    me and my mate wanted to race each other today, were both very new to this game. we tried the refresh thing but couldnt find each other.

    any workarounds for this?
