How to access the custom career mods ??

Hi
I have downloaded the custom career mods and I was able to see them in the Career mode page.But as soon as I click "Start".Its taking me to the last event that I have participated like Hot Lap or Time Attack etc.

I am new to ACs career mod is there anything that I should do to access the custom made career series ??

if i remember right ,open the series cfg file and the entry requires= , make sure after the = is blank
