How does this sub-forum and uploading work?

In this sub-forum you can release finished game modifications with the rest of the F1 2012 The Game community.

How to upload and share your mods?
In the brand new F1 2012 Resource Manager you'll find three different categories under which you can file your project:

• F1 2012 Apparel (Helmet, Gloves, Suits)
• F1 2012 Skins (Car skins)
• F1 2012 Misc (Miscellaneous mod files that don't fit in any of the two above categories)

Select a sub-category and click the "add resource"button in the F1 2012 Resource Manager and complete all the fields. Once once your mod has finished uploading an automatically created discussion thread with a prefix, and a download link will appear in this sub-forum where the community can give you feedback, leave a rating (important!), ask for support or just thank you for all the work you've done.

The previously used downloads manager still contains a lot of files and we ask our members to re-upload or re-share their previous work (if it was used much) in the new resource manager as over time the old downloads will be removed (with a notice up front of course) as it was a temporary solution to bridge the gap to our new system. Now the new resource manager has arrived it will stay here at RD permanently.

Small addition: if you like a mod after testing it, make sure to leave a rating/review so you can help others to decide what to download.

Social Media sharing buttons have been added to the resource pages. You can now directly share the mods you love with your friends and followers online by clicking the twitter, facebook and google plus buttons in the sidebar of each resource.

Update Regarding the Resource Manager

*Please Note*
All projects must be uploaded via the Resource Manager. No projects will be accepted without you using the Resource Manager.

Updating a resource

If you need to update your mod, please update your original resource. Modify your file, and upload the whole mod to RD or to your external host ***. You must change the version number of the file, and add a short description of the changes made to the new version.

*** New changes December 2013, no external hosts, but much larger upload available (300 MB)

An update post will automatically be added to your original thread, and a forum notification or email will be sent to your thread or mod subscribers, informing them of your update.
