Hotlap Challenge?

What do you guys think about a hotlap challenge until we can race each other in multiplayer?
Standard procedure: A car/track combo is picked and everybody posts a screenshot of their quickest lap and a leaderboard is created.
Interested?

My suggestions: X-Bow at Imola / M3 E92 at Silverstone / 458 at Vallelunga

1:43.7 with the Zonda R @Mugello.

No TC, wing 2-6, front spring lowest, rear +2 clicks from minimum. Some damper adjustments but I think that doesn't matter as much(didn't test much), camber I think -3.7, -2.9.

I think low 43s are very very quick, won't be surprised to see a 42 from some alien too. But below 1:40? I dont hink so

Just lapped for fun a few minutes (track day style), made a couple adjustments to the car aswell to cure the understeer from the base setup.

Around 75L of fuel, HARD tyres: 1:45.086

Probably can go much quicker though, especially with soft tyres and low fuel.

So how long are we running this challenge? All weekend? I just got home from work so have to put in some family time and try to sneak away before the alcohol comes out. If not ill be lucky to do under 3:00 flat lol!

I did low 1,45 on base setup so far. A bit understeery but it is exactly as it should be.

Did a 43.0 with the Zonda at Mugello now, default setup except rear wing at 6. Best times are gonne be deep into the 42`s with the default set.

"Good" is relative. Understeer for one can be oversteer for another, neutral can be all over the place for one, too tamed for another and so forth.

Setups are realistic. Cars feel like they should from the factory. As William said, good is relative. But realistic feel of cars in AC is one of many reasons why AC is so amazing.

Can't get used to this Zonda. So still doing 45 lows...

You are crazy with times like 43.
But I liked P4/5 and set 1:45.244 at Imola. Very nice track/car combo.

I am doing low 1,44 mostly right now. Once I did very high 1,43. I have a hard time believing that I can go THAT fast in some corners. P4/5 feels even more gripy. At mugello you don't need to brake in few corners, just a littlebit lift of gas pedal.

Its a new SIM and a total conversion of the feelings must be done in order to understand how it work,for us,non racers in real life.The old SIM rules dont apply and we need to learn from the start...There is time....i better do some more practice and get ready for the multiplayer....might hit us when we less expect

I wouldn't bother with car setups so far because lot of things may change with each update. I'm having trouble with my brake pedal and need to do some tweaks because when I modulate I always end up with low brake pressure. Other than that, I'm really learning with each session.

There is only two reasons for altering a setup (IMO) and that is performance or comfort/personal preference. As long as there is no multiplayer and I enjoy most cars straight out of the box I dont touch the settings. Come league time its time to work those spanners.
