Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

I completed both races without engine damage so that in itself is reason to celebrate.

I had a long battle with Anders in race 1, where I had the faster of the two Coopers and we changed places a few times before the end.
I too had the Alpine for race 2 and it was indeed superior in speed. I used a setup from Yves and as long as I was careful in the turns the car made gains in the rest of the track.

Thanks to Yves and Rupe for their work. Cheers to all drivers.

Very nice evening, although race 1 was a little bit frustrating for me.
My mighty Abarth seemed not so mighty at the end of quali for R1, it felt like i was losing power every now & then and i couldn't figure out what's up with the car. The first 2 laps of R1 were promising as a nice battle between @Yves Larose & me was shaping up at the back of the grid, but then suddenly i couldn't keep up with Yves 39hp monster anymore.
About 1/3rd into the race i thought about checking my pedal input and there it was, throttle jumping between 70-100% with the pedal to the metal, pedals broken. The fact that i'm losing up to 30% power in one of the mods slowest cars made me want to give up for the first time but i got myself together and finished the race on last position, about half an hour behind everyone else :D.
The hot Mini battle from start to finish in R2 though was an absolute blast (replaced my G27 pedals with the old G25s inbetween races), i was fighting it out with @Sven-Arne Andersson for most of the race, while slowly gaining on Stig and hoping we could make him sweat a bit before the line. He got away though :cry:. And i lost my battle with Sven last minute :cry:. Great fun :thumbsup:.

Thanks to all involved.

@Stig Bidstrup
I tried an earlier version of DRM but never installed the new one on my new system. We can't implement it under the "HistorX" name, because the team had nothing to do with this mod (afaik). But personnally i'd sign up and give it a try if there was some DRM club racing on RD :).

Is this the other mod that Simjunkies raced at their 24hr Le Mans event? It looks great, I'd like to give it a go sometime even if it's not possible to race it in RD's rFactor racing club.

Well that was fun for as long as it lasted. Went into a sand trap on lap 1 and that was that, no way out. At least I finally got some practice (I see I need a LOT more though). See you next time!
