Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

Sign me up please @Denis Betty . I was able to get on the server for a test and all went well. Still have some things to tweak, add.. virtual mirrors, GID, the other skin packs,Chat comments..... but hopefully the game is stable. Note: I had the same issues with the wheel not being accessible in game again after the new install. I decided to unplug the flight sim controllers and that solved the issue. I have never had to unplug them before in the 10 plus years of using the these sims so I never thought of plugging them was something to try. I wonder if that was the issue all along with the old install and why would it crop up now out of the blue????

Got my little lad this w,end so put me down as a maybe please.:)
Nice one Allan. :)

I really don't know Jack. I thought this had been an issue (on & off) since you upgraded your PC?
The non-Steam version only recognises 3 controllers. Only the controllers which show in slots 1 & 2 in the Game Controllers list in Windows will work as analogue controllers. Same in game, your wheel and pedals need to be controllers 1 & 2. But I guess you know this, it's the same for rF2, AMS, etc.

I had some issues on and off which required me to remap the controls sometimes in HistoricGT but they were always accessible to make the changes ...this new issue won't let me make any changes.

Not aware of this feature:

I have a TM wheel, HE pedals and a TH8 shifter. The shifter is a right pain. Always tries to promote itself to controller 1 in Windows. When this happens, it messes up my controller order in game. IIRC, this then means that I am unable to map either my wheel or my pedals to controller 1 in rFactor. All of this means that I end in a situation, where either my wheel or my pedals are assigned to controller 3 i rFactor, which means that I cant map any analogue axis to that controller (controller 3) in game. Every time this happens is a major downer and can take hours, sometimes days to sort out. :(
I can't remember if this was ever a thing in W7.

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

You need the HistorX mod installed for these races, do I understand it correctly? I have Sundays free now, so I thought I might join you sometimes (though I'm not sure yet if I would be able to make specifically this race), but I have very little experience with rF1 (and all of that offline).

Yes Martin, you'll need the mod. You will also need to own a copy of GT Legends in order to install the mod successfully. Download is linked HERE. There is also a hints & tips thread in rF1 forum on RD, but any questions, ask away. I'm away from my desktop for a few days now, but I'll do what I can to help. If I can't help, @Yves Larose is a font of knowledge.
