Today the Historic Porsche Cup moves to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium for the third round of the championship. This week its an endurance type of race of approximately 1 hour.

The previous round at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve saw lots of good battles all around the field with some incidents that made the races more interesting for the viewers, as some of the top runners was out of place after the incidents. Both qualifications saw Ross McGegor taking the top spot for both races followed by Jernej Simoncic and Guilherme Silva to complete the top 3 spots on the racing grid for the starts of both races.

Spa-Francorchamps
Today the Historic Porsche Cup moves to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps for its first endurance race of the season, a fast and challenging circuit where drivers will have to push to the limits of their cars to have a good result.

The track has many iconic corners such as La Source hairpin where we should see many overtakings. Of course the infamous Eau Rouge - Raidillon uphill fast chicane that is the biggest challenge of the track as geting it right its very rewarding but getting wrong and the wall awaits you. Les Combes is another place to watch for overtaking and maybe some great side by side racing, the fast double left hander Pohon provides another challenge for the drivers, much time can be gain or lost in that corner. The lap finishes with the long Blanchimont corner that has ended the race of many drivers in the past when they end up in the wall wall if taken wrongly, the classic bus-stop chicane completes the lap..

Tonight's live streamed event is a 23 laps enduro race with a mandatory pitstop between lap 8 and 14 for a minimum of 2 tires preceded by a 30 minute qualification. The drivers can earn double points for the event so a good result here will be very important for the overall standings.
