For the inaugural RaceDepartment DiRT Rally event, we are climbing the mountains in some old, wild cars. First the classic, mixed surface climb. Then the modern tarmac climb.

This is a rally for all members of RaceDepartment, premium or not. So just sign up, tag your friends or enemies, not to mention the fremenies to see who can climb the fastest, and not run off at the same time.

SS01: Pikes Peak - Full Course - Mixed Surface - Sunset - Clear
SS02: Pikes Peak - Full Course - Tarmac - Afternoon - Overcast

Session Open: From 00:00GMT 29th of May, until 23:59GMT 31st of May.

General Notes for this first event:

This will be used as a test, to check out some different features of Codemasters RaceNet system, and how to, if possible make a results file out of it.
There will be trial and error at the time being, but that is a part of the Early Access!

Enjoy, remember the most important thing is that you have fun!
 
If I do not post anytimes, that will be caused by yet another HDD failure on my pc, this one is going back to the store for sure
 
HDD failure O.o isn't that... supposed to be pretty rare?
Yes, it is. However I use Seagate HDD's which have a 20-25% failure rate in the first two years. Therefore they only give one year warranty. :)
It is not a total failure of the HDD, but the read/write head of the disk gets stuck. It attempts to reset itself, but most of the times get instantly stuck again. Have to go back to the store as this one is just a month old.
